It's time for the 2008 IOC summer camping!! JR Kita-Komatsu Shiga.We'll camp at Guenki Mura at JR Kita-Komatsu Shiga about 1 hour from JR Osaka.
Saturday Aug 2
There will be hiking, Rock Climb Ryo and Atsuo will lead the Climb.
In the evening we'll have a BBQ and camp out.
Sunday Aug 3
We'll have breakfast, pack up the camp site and then the afternoon is free for swimming, hike, relaxing on the beach, frisbee etc.
The committee will buy and prepare the BBQ dinner and Sunday breakfast.
We will NOT provide alcohol or any drinks so please bring your own. (There is a convenience store in Kita Komatsu .
I reserved 10 camp deck 2 tent for deck.
All campers please bring:
tent (or use IOC tent), sleeping bag, mattress, towel/ swimwear, sunscreen, rain gear, plate, cup, spoon, fork and chopsticks AND DRINKS.
Also bring any beach gear you may have: beach balls, frisbees,

Cost:
The campsite and facilities are free for IOC members.
Dinner and breakfast = 1000yen
Non-members pay 1500yen
The SIGN-UP DEADLINE IS JULY 15

Twilight hike maya-san Aug 30th
Twilight hike, Saturday Aug 30thHi,
As you may know Maya-san (in Kobe) has a great night view. It's called "10 million dollars night view." If you have not seen it, why don't you check if it's worth?
I plan to have a hike and an outdoor dinner party on the top of the mountain. We meet at Hankyu Oji-Koen station(east exit, Osaka side) at 16:00. It takes about 2 hours to the top so we start the party around 18:00. After the party we catch a cable car for comming down(860 yen). The last cable car leaves at 20:
50. Of course if you want to go down on your foot it's possible.
If someone would like to I will go down with you.
Bring: a flashlight, raingear,
food and drinks (beer, wine, soft drink, etc) to share (the more you eat or drink, the more you need to carry!), a cup, a dish, chopsticks, etc..
