The cycling is flat and easy but we will be cycling 110kms on the first day and 50kms on the second so you need to comfortable with this.

Ibukiyama hike
Ibukiyama, Shiga-ken Sun June 29Hiking 2 stars
Hey everyone,
Join me on a hike up Ibukiyama - at 1377m high it is the tallest mountain in Shiga and one of Japan's 100meizan.
It's a 4-hour hike up to the top, where we'll walk around, look at the flowers and hopefully take in some great views. Then it's another 2 1/2hours back down.
Please note that I have not done this hike before. Also, please be aware that this is a fairly long hike and that the weather will be hot and humid.
Wear appropriate clothes and hiking boots/shoes.
Bring plenty of water (at least 2 litres), lunch and snacks, raingear, headlamp.
I think there are shops selling food and drink at the top but I'm not sure so please don't count on this.
I will cancel if the forecast is for heavy rain.
Meet at OmiNagaoka Station at 9am. Then we take a bus to the trailhead at 9:15 (or depending on the number of people and the availability it may be about the same price to take a taxi)
There is a train leaving Osaka at 07:17, arriving Maibara at 08:38. From Maibara, take the 08:45 train to OmiNagaoka which arrives at 08:54.
Email me to sign-up.
