Sawanobori (Climbing mountain stream) in Shiga ken on 22nd July

*** This event  date has been changed to July 22nd from July 1st.***

Summer is on its way!  If you don't like sweating up
mountains in the hot and humid summer days in Japan, then why not try this  beginner sawanobori
event? We will stay cool by wading, swimming and
climbing small waterfalls up Myouodani stream (west of Hira san) with a professional sawanobori guide.
The course is only 2 km long, but promises to be full of action!

Cost : 5,250 yen includes guide, wetsuit, wet jacket, life jacket (floating vest), helmet, special shoes and insurance.

Time : 10:00 until 16:00

Need to take your own lunch, towel, swimwear (and waterproof camera!)

It is necessary to book the guide and equipment for
this event, so please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.

This event will start about 1 hour's drive north of
Kyoto and the best way to get there is by car. So if anyone is willing to drive there, please let me know!

Shirouma ( Nagano ) trek, July 28-31.

Shirouma trek, July 28-31.

Hi,

Why don't we enjoy a Japan Alps trek? This time we
will go to Shirouma dake
(2,932m) which is famous for beautiful flowers and
abundant snow patch.

The route is not so tough but since we plan to stay
in a tent, you need an
ability to carry a backback with a tent and food for
7-8 hours a day.

I plan to use a bus to Shirouma from Osaka, leaving
July 28 night.
It costs 8000 yen for one way. If members prefer, we
can use a car.
