Weekend Ski trip to Nagano 3rd to 6th March

I will book a ski tour to either Hakuba Iwatake or Togari Onsen.
A night bus will leave 3rd March night (Friday) from Osaka and we will take a night bus back to Osaka on 6th March morning. (Usually arrives before 6 am)

Package and Budget : Bus Round Trip + 1 night accomodation + 1 dinner and breakfast + 1 day ski pass.
Around 20,000 yen

Miuneyama snow hiking on Mar.4th.

Two stars
We go to Miuneyama to see silver frost.

The schedule :
8:15 St.Uehonmachi (Kintetsu line)
8:18 St.Tsuruhashi (Persons who use JR get on the Kintetsu train here)
9:03 St.Haibara (Here is the meeting place)
9:15 We get on a bus to the starting point of Miuneyama.

We walk to the top of Miuneyama for two hours.
On the top, it will be so cold.
You had better bring something to eat easily.
We will eat lunch at a place where there is no wind.
In going to the base of the mountain by 14:45, we will take an Onsen.

16:00 We go to St.Haibara by bus.
17:20 We go to St.Uehonmachi or St. Tsuruhashi by Kintetsu line.

Bring :
Hiking boots, Crampons, Warm Clothes, Gloves, Stickes, Cap,
Lunch, Snack, Sunglasse or Goggle

Cost :
Kintetsu train(Uehonmachi - Haibara) : 1,600yen(Both ways)
Bus : 2,820yen(Both ways)
Onsen : 600yen

Plum explore hiking in Tsukigase on Mar.18th.

One stars.
Plum season is here, so lets go explore the beautiful Tukigase area of Nara.
Tsukigase is most famous plum region in Kansai and 200000 people visit here.
We will have lunch while enjoying the plum blossoms of Tsukigase.
Possible onsen in Tsukigase Onsen upon return.

According to tenki.jp, daytime temperatures sometimes reached 16 degree on mar.18th.

Ski day trip to Gifu Sunday, Mar.19th

How do you feel like spring skiing in Gifu?
Minhao and Junko will drive to Washigatake in Gifu

I will start from Shin Osaka and Junko from Kyoto. Leaving around 6 am. It takes about 3 hours to drive to Washigatake. We will arrive around 10 am and ski for
the rest of the day. There is an onsen at the ski place so we can have a hot relaxing bath before we go back to Kansai.
You pay for your own ski pass and lunch. We share toll fees plus petrol for the car. We have room for 6 members to come with us. So sign up fast!

Plum crazy cycle ride, Sun March 25

It's time to blow the cobwebs off your bikes and get pedalling, folks!  Plum season is here, so let's
go explore the beautiful Yoshino area of Nara.  Route details to follow, but we'll definitely go to
Anou bairin (see link) and maybe Mt. Koya too.
