Note : Due to unforseen circumstances, I have been forced to cancel or postpone this event.Sunday the first of August, I'd be cycling from JR Gobo station and up towards Wakayama on the coastline.
Very easy riding on the waterline, bring your bathingsuit if we find a secluded beach, taking it very easy and just enjoying what probably could be one of my very last events in the IOC

Note : I'll leave for the area on friday and will meet you on Gobo station rather than in Osaka.

Kobe Hike and Fireworks Show, Saturday, August 7th
There's a fireworks show in Kobe on Aug 7th Sat. So I plan to hold a combination event of a hiking and a foreworks display. This is a one star event.First, Maya-san hiking. This time we hike up from Hankyu Rokko station. We will meet at Hankyu Rokko station at 11:00. Going up through Soma-tani. The path is called Cascade Vally. On the top there is a beautiful pond called Hodaka-Ko. After having a lunch and enjoying the scenery we come down to Oji-Koen via Maya-san.
Second, fireworks display. After having a beer or two, we will head for Sannomiya to wach the fireworks display. It will start at 20:15 and last till 21:00.

Come and find out about our upcoming events while meeting new and old members. In addition, our very own Jacquelyn Elliot will be giving a presentation on canyoning in the Philippines. Awaji Island Weekend Cycle, Aug. 21-22
Cycle around Awaji island, explore the beaches and views of Osaka Bay, the Sea of Harima, and the Naruto Strait. Find a place to camp somewhere on the island on Saturday night, and return to the ferry on Sunday.Leader: Jeremy Bricker bricker@kobe-u.ac.jp
Accommodation: We'll find a place to camp for the night on Saturday
(hopefully on the beach!).
Bring: sleeping bag, bicycle, food and lots of water.
Limit: My tent holds 3. More possible if folks bring more tents.

Overnight SeaKayaking in Ise (Mie-pref), August 28-29th
We will stay coastline camp where like a desert island. There before,we should be pack into Kayak our all (tents,food, sleep item) equipment. SeaKayak can carry 50Kg baggage, But the baggage have to compact size. The quiet atmosphere and no light. You can see only one light house's light. In case of sunday low wave(up to one meter), we will go to Mieshima (5km) desert island trip and lunch and cave.
