There is a tour of Ski/Snowboard for Hakuba on 11/12/13/14 Feb that Pierre who is IAC Tokyo member is organizing.
That is the Hakuba IAC Classic 11th edition
Ski/Snowboard and optional snowshoe weekend in Hakuba Iwatake and Happo Olympic resorts.
I will join his tour. If you interested in this Ski/Snowboard tour,let's go with together.
The details are as follows.
Total snowboard beginners are welcome, a few IAC veterans will provide first steps initiation. This trip features onsen and a stay at Shioya, an authentic culturally rich farm-house that converts to minshuku during snow season. All vegetables served are home grown. Real Japanese style with tatamis, futons (lots of..), charcoal kotatsu (yes), ofuro hot bath -or onsen available nearby- and owner's hospitality.. Total number limited to 20+, we haved booked for up to 8 members from Wednesday 10th (Thursday 11th being a national Holiday) and from Friday night, the whole minshuku is booked for IAC. We go by car-sharing and/or train, one volunteer guide is needed to take charge of the JR express tickets and guide the train group.

Lodge JPY20,000 (3 nights, 3 meals) ; Train 2 ways about JPY23,000
Individual: Lifts: JPY 7,800; Ski/snowboard rental: JPY2800/day ; snowshoe rental: JPY2000/day.
Except rentals and lift tickets, no credit cards accepted, you must bring the cash with you.
Advance deposit JPY10000- required by 30th January.
This deposit covers the lodge and/or JR express tickets, will not be refunded if cancelled after Jan 30th (but you can register a replacement instead).
